The name “Cave Canem”, Latin for “Beware of the dog,” is inspired by the warnings once seen on the gates of Roman villas. But there’s nothing to fear here: pit bulls and poodles have become intellectuals, reading foreign dictionaries in bright red glasses.
The “Cave Canem” eco-friendly notebook collection includes four designs, each featuring a different dog breed on recycled paper. Choose the one that suits you best and take it home — it’s the perfect gift: witty, charming, and friendly.
Each notebook features an ivory cardstock cover with a glossy red hot-stamped illustration. Inside are 64 blank pages of 80 gsm recycled paper. The first page is in red paper for a bold, playful touch.
