A6 “Solo la Luce” notebook in Tar Paper® with black paper, fluorescent pastel, and gift box included.
Can you write with light? That’s exactly what we set out to do with “Solo la luce”, our dreamy and surprising eco-friendly journal created in collaboration with visual artist and performer Enrico Minato.
Tar Paper® is an unexpected material, made from paper mixed with distilled bitumen and polymers. The result is a durable, waterproof surface.
The Solo la luce recycled paper journal by Arbos is a product we love because it uses Tar Paper® in a totally original and bold way. The result is a total black journal with a minimalist, refined, and deeply evocative design.
Writing on black pages isn’t common: Minato’s intent is to encourage us to think outside the box, to take seemingly impossible paths.
The spine of this “Solo la luce” eco-friendly journal in Tar Paper® hides a fluorescent pastel – perfect for writing with light on its 128 black pages. Our tip? Try using a gold or silver marker for an even more surprising effect.
The “Solo la luce” eco-friendly journal in Tar Paper® comes in a gift box that includes a reproduction of an American poster from the 1800s about the medicinal virtues of petroleum – incredible, isn’t it?
