An estimated 6,300 MILLION tons of plastic waste was generated from 1950 to 2017.
Of this staggering amount:only 9% was recycled (studio dell’American Association for the Advancement of Science, 2017)
According to the report “The Mediterranean: mare plasticum” by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), 1 MILLION tons of plastic waste is found in the Mediterranean basin, and 230 MILLION tons of it is spilled every year

The OCEAN notebook is a concentrate of circular economy! It is the result of teamwork uniting different Italian realities.
Ocean’s cover is made of 100% recycled HDPE plastic from granulated detergent bottles.
Taking the half-litre water bottle as a reference, the 15×21 notebook reuses 9 units, the 10.5×15 notebook reuses 4.3 units.
The pages are made of 100% recycled unbleached paper from selected post-consumer waste.
The binding spiral is made of recyclable galvanised steel in the iron collection.
