At a time when culture certainly is not living its greatest splendour and museums are not exactly the most visited places, there are still initiatives that go against the flow and launch a new idea of the museum. One of these is certainly the Families to the Museum initiative that will take place for the second time on Sunday 12 October.

The national Families to the Museum F@Mu event will involve museums throughout Italy with proposals related to museum didactics and knowledge of the cultural heritage especially designed for families with children.

The Museums of Bassano del Grappa (Museo Civico, Palazzo Sturm, Palazzo Bonaguro, Torre Civica) will take part in the initiative and Arbos will be alongside them with its Family Kit that will be distributed to families that take part in the event.

The kit consists of educational games that kids can share with each other and with their parents and books with illustrated cards by Elena Sartori designed for two different age groups that are filled with information on the works of Museums.

Sergio Paolin, president of Arbos stated, “supporting the activities of one of the most important cultural institutions in the area such as the Museo Civico is a concrete way to expresses our company’s steadfast commitment to the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility. Above all, we believe that fostering closer relations between the worlds of business and art, a comparison of those who work within these two realities could lead to new vital stimuli for the renewal and development of our economy”.

During the F@Mu, the bookshops of the Museums of Bassano del Grappa will have albums, drawing pads and many gift ideas from the Arbos Kids collection.

Admission to the museum is free.
